Youíre looking for a place to stay. You might be looking for a place to relax to take your mind off what you do all week long. You might be planning a trip and need a layover on your way. You might be visiting friends or family in the Cooroy/Pomona area or attending a wedding and need a place to stay for a few nights. What can you expect from Cudgerie Homestead B&B?
One thing about B&Bís that make them different from other types of accommodation is that they are all unique. No franchising in this business. For a B&B to be successful it must attract and please guests in such a way that guests are not only happy to have arrived, but that they canít wait to come back.
When you stay at Cudgerie Homestead B&B you donít spend your time confined to your room like you might at a motel or hotel. You get a home. You get a home with all the comforts and space but none of the chores and none of the worries. You get a home with hosts who can give you almost infinite suggestions about what to do and what to see in one of the nicest environments in Australia. You get the freshest of food fixed by hosts who love to prepare great meals. You get home made food that gives homemade food its good name.
You get views across the Pomona State Forests and across The Great Sandy National Park. The Sand Patch above the headwaters of the Noosa River is evident on the northeastern horizon. The sea glistens in the morning on the furthest eastern horizon. Mt Cooroora peeks back through the trees in the west. Mt. Eerwah backdrops the landscape to the southeast from the 12 metre infinity pool.
You get dark skies at night and a host who can give you a quick tour of our southern sky. If you like, you might even get to spot some of our fruit bats, possums, gliders, antechinus or frog mouths who fill the night with their activity.
You get a good nightís sleep in a bed that will encourage you to sleep in. No smooth plaster walls here. Our 1920ís homestead has the character of the period and you can feel the hospitality oozing from it's wooden panelling.
We are close to Noosa beach and all the festivals and culture that Noosa offers but we are just on the fringe so we are away from the intense traffic and throb of humanity.
When you return to Cudgerie after an exciting day up the Noosa everglades or a relaxing walk in Noosa National Park or a swim at Noosa beach, you will appreciate our cool evening breezes on the veranda. With a hot cup of tea or freshly squeezed orange juice or glass of red wine, you'll easily slip into a reflective mood to consolidate your experiences of the day.
Got a weekend to get away? Cudgerie is the place to be.
